Independent app studio · Canary Islands, Spain

A studio where ideas get coloured in.

Creyon is where we play. Ideas start as scribbles, and the ones that keep pulling get built, polished and published as real apps. Small studio, two pairs of hands, no roadmap theatre.

In the studio

Something new is being sketched right now.

When it’s ready to leave the studio, it’ll show up here.

How we work

Every app is built, published and supported by the two of us — the same pair behind all of them.

The name is a box of crayons

creyón · m.
Coloured pencil. Mostly used in the plural.
Canarian Spanish — Academia Canaria de la Lengua

A word from home, for the thing you reach for before you know what you’re making. Our first app is called Lienzo — canvas. Crayons and a canvas: that’s the whole idea.

01 — Play first

Nothing gets built because a spreadsheet said so. It gets built because it was fun to sketch and hard to stop thinking about.

02 — Finish properly

Shipping is the easy half. Support, privacy, refunds and updates are the part that makes it a studio instead of a hobby.

03 — Answer the email

Write to us and one of us writes back, usually within two working days. There’s no support maze because there are only two of us to hide behind.

Boilerplate

Creyon Studio is an independent app studio based in the Canary Islands, Spain. It designs, builds and publishes its own products — starting with Lienzo, an app that repaints pet photos as fine art. The name comes from creyón, the Canarian word for a coloured pencil.
